I’d not done a desert piece before. Beauty is everywhere. With recent news, especially yesterday, I felt inspired to shine a light on a place, and culture, that some of us in the West do not understand or value. It’s less about the external landscape and more about our internal humanity, to me,
I felt that. The world lately feels heavy, human life seems cheaper, and so much of it revolves around the material, leaving many feeling empty and without direction.
Still, I appreciate you shedding light on something many don’t take the time to see. 🙂
It feels heavier, but the weight never changes. Just our scales. The past year needed to happen, as context and a cautionary tale we will forever remember, when the load feels much lighter everywhere, soon.
