This is one of two demos my ex-drummer (Sluggo) and I recorded together for a band that never formed. That’s me on guitars, bass and vocals.
I was definitely in my early Weezer phase (the “Blue” album-esque) and it shows, methinks. I wrote it in about five minutes but it’s odd how such a very short, very simple tune remains one of my top favorites to this day.
As for the lyrics, I’d been postponing ending a relationship that was damned from the start, which become the fodder.
